Oral Surgery practice seeking dedicated Surgical Assistant in Medford, NJ

As a surgical assistant in our office, you will have the opportunity to provide chairside assistance during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. This would include patients receiving local anesthesia as well as those requiring general anesthesia. With training, you'll help monitor sedated patients.  Taking intra and extraoral radiographs will be a daily task.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Take X-rays and assist with operative and non-operative patients
• Assist with needed documentation for each patient
• Prepare instrumentation/operatory for upcoming procedures
• Help maintain clean and professional office atmosphere

Required Skills:

• Chairside Assisting, experience a plus but not required
• X-Ray Certification
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate with staff and patients
